We currently offer hedge trimming, lawnmowing, weed whacking, pressure washing, and basic gardening, but hope to expand our services soon! Our custom Lawn Care services provide solutions for a variety of outdoor spaces. We cater to the needs and requirements of each and every client, so you’ll get exactly what you want.

About Us!
The Story Behind Our Landscaping Service
One With The Land is an indigenous owned Vancouver Island business started by George Aleck, who had a life long vision to own his own landscaping business so he could work in nature and give back to the earth. After many hardships and struggles throughout his life, he finally found himself in a position to be able to make it a reality after meeting his now wife. Once they expanded their family with a baby girl in April 2023, George had even more reason to accomplish his goals and make sure his baby had everything she needed.
With the support and help from his wife, he completed I-CEDAR, a program for indigenous entrepreneurs, through the University of Victoria and graduated in December 2023. From there, he started getting everything in place for his new business.
What he is doing differently is hiring people who have struggled with homelessness and addiction to help them get on their feet again. By offering this therapeutic landscaping opportunity to them, they are getting the benefits of working with nature, getting a sense of accomplishment by finishing jobs, and making a good income while doing so.
Aside from helping the community by giving people a second chance, One With The Land also uses sustainable methods that feed the land and help it flourish. You'll never see us use harmful chemicals or gas powered equipment. We strive to give back to this land of ours that we take so much from.
